03 Installer Notes
Channels 4 & 6 — Subwoofer (Omitted): Allocated as input feeds to the subwoofer outputs but excluded from the final tune. The Alpine PXE-C80-88's output routing limitations caused Ch 4 and Ch 6 to negatively impact EQ curve shape and time alignment accuracy. Left inactive to preserve tune integrity.
High-Level Input Selection: PCCM Radio low-level (RCA) output does not produce sufficient voltage for a high-performance system. High-level speaker outputs were tapped and fed into the DSP's high-level input stage — correct and preferred signal path for this configuration.
